IndieVerse
Architecture of the creative economy

Every film is a constellation of people.

IndieVerse turns the unpaid work inside film co-productions into a verified, auditable ownership record.

The problem

Independent films run on work nobody fully paid for.

A cinematographer takes half her rate. A post house gives a discount. An editor defers part of his fee. European funds already ask producers to document this value, line by line, with a contract behind every item.

Today it lives in emails and spreadsheets, with no shared record between co-producers and no link to who gets paid back, and when.

RoleFilm editor
Rate card€20,000
Paid in cash€12,000
GAP€8,000

Confirmed by the team, contract attached, the €8,000 becomes a deferral on line 11 of the Eurimages summary budget, an equity share in the live cap table, and a position in the recoupment schedule.

How it works

Measure. Confirm. Convert.

Measure

The GAP is the market rate for a role minus what was actually paid. The rate comes from the guild or collective agreement, not from a negotiation.

Confirm

Partners approve each record in a short consensus step, so no number is set by one side alone.

Convert

Approved records update a live cap table and the recoupment schedule, and export in the budget format funds already use.

Built for European co-production

One film, several countries, one record.

Per co-producer, consolidated per film

Each partner's contributions are kept separately and rolled up across countries and currencies.

Country rules as data

Caps on overheads, producer fees and contingency differ by country and by calculation base. IndieVerse checks them automatically.

Fund-ready from day one

Producers arrive at funds and auditors with in-kind and deferral records that are already structured and contracted.
